Marriage on The Journey ![]() Greetings,
So, you and your significant
other are thinking about getting married. Congratulations! I’m
happy for you. I’m also happy you’re apparently considering
the possibility of getting married at The Journey.
Let me tell you why I believe
that’s an excellent idea. First, our sacred space is intimate and
festive. Second, we are committed to making your big day happy and
holy. Third, the cost is very reasonable: $0. That’s right,
nothing: zip, zero, zilch.
Should you decide to
celebrate your wedding at The Journey, we will work with you to set
dates for and plan the rehearsal and wedding. I’d like to meet
with you both once, so I can get to know you, ask you both some basic
questions, and go over with each of you what you want your wedding
ceremony to include.
After all, just like you, we
want this to be the happiest day of your life!
Blessings,
Rev. Bill Freeman
Questions for the couple How long have you two known each other? Why do you want to get married? Is this your first marriage? Any children? What do you each think about children? How compatible are you with intimacy? How well do you two communicate? Do you argue much? How were your parents’ marriages? What do you two do for a living? What will you do after you’re married? What’s your financial future look like? Where will you live? What kind of spiritual/religious life, if any, will you lead together? Any plans for a honeymoon?
